Help with string lights

We put a fence and did and outdoor area, This is the first part, I still need a dinning table with umbrella. I just put the string lights hanged in a sheppers hook. Do you think the lights looks good and do you think that hanging plants on the sheppers hook will be a good combination with the lights.I need your advice please.

It could be just me but I think I'd like the lights uniformly arranged around the fence line. Even if you want to keep the hooks, I think keeping the hooks and swags the same would look lovely.

Yes, arrange lights around the fence. They appear a little low and you do not want to forget that they are there and have an accident. You can put some potted plants/flowers on the patio if you desire.
