I added quite a few new ones last fall - peonies too. Man I can't wait for spring!

My only K is one of the new ones. Got it from my local society and am quite excited about it.

Nice choice! I've never seen this one but it's bound to be good since it won the Dykes Medal.

I am not sure if this was mis-labeled. Some pictures show a fall center line, others do not. No description of the beard at AIS.

Welcome Suzabanana! (great name!) What a lovely iris! I haven't seen orchid iris before. Do you have many?

I've always wanted 'Kathryn Hodgkin' but those types need more chill than we have. Gorgeous iris.

redwolfdoc - I planted about a dozen bulbs in November and they are giving me a welcome show for this early spring.

Suzabanana, they're really sweet. They must be one of the first bloomers for you... are the forget-me-nots or crocus up as well? Nothing yet in this zone but the first tiny bits of green peeking out of the soil that are narcissi, crocus, and muscari.

I have a few crocus up (what's left after the squirrels and chipmunks dine on them) and hellebores. The green bits in the background are daffs and frittilaria. A few muscari in a back bed are starting to show up as well. I was surprised how early these were, but I am so pleased to see them :) We planted ~600 bulbs last fall (muscari, daffodils, fritillaria, allium, crocosmia, anemone and lily of the valley pips), so I'm waiting for the big pay-off!

I sympathize about the squirrels - they're absolute thugs in my garden. Still, with around 600 bulbs you're going to have a heck of a show! I put in about 200 crocus and muscari bulbs the fall before last, and added several daffs this past fall. It's exciting to see them starting to grow. Then come the tulips, and even my peonies are starting to show growth. Spring really is coming!

Took a friend's dog for a walk (she'd had surgery) in a state park. Dog (terrier) went crazy with all the squirrels. Nearly choked himself. Cocky little guys.

I thought I'd over-reached my limit by potting up 68 tulips and 3 pkg. daffs. into the soil. I hope you all take pictures and put them over on the Bulb Forum :-)
