That is Gigi, a Parade Rose by Poulsen Roser A/S. There are actually four rose plants in one pot. I purchased mine a year ago last summer and wrote to the company and supplier and they confirmed it. I've been very happy with Gigi. She suffered from a spider mite attack, but several showers of water kept them away. I live in a warm, dry zone, so I can't comment on when to plant.

Ok, I live kinda on the border of 7a/7b. I've bought many grocery store mini's. If I buy them during the winter (like now), I'll put them into the garden almost right away, after enjoying them for a couple of days, and bury them under a pile of leafs for a couple of weeks. Once I'm pretty sure they have gone at least half way dormant is when I separate them and put them right back where I had them. Something else I do that helps the roses to stay dormant. I make sure the soil the separated roses are going into is cold. If I'm going to repot them into larger pots, I put the potting soil outside in a cold, shady spot for at least a week. This way I'm not putting warm soil around the roots to wake them up. It works like a charm.
