These are my beautiful pride and joys from last year, and I have finally cut into them and retrieved the seeds. If you would like some, email me for an address and you can send me a SASE for seeds. They were bagged and hand pollinated, and should be pure.
Juane Gros de Paris or "Big Yellow of Paris" is a huge heirloom pumpkin, with surprisingly great cooking qualities. My largest one was over 60# and made lots of sweet puree for pies, soups, etc. The skin is more of a rough peachy color than yellow...not the prettiest but lovely in it's own way. The flesh is soft orange and much less watery than other giant varieties. It stores very well all winter if protected.
