Hi I am trying to get a gray/beige for the body to pull from the stone and roof but the samples all turn out too light on the exterior walls. Also the dark paint/stain on trim currently on windows and doors seems too "reddish" with these colors and looks wrong.. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

What do you think of this color and trim for your home? It looks good with the river rock. You could vary the shade of the same color based on your preferences. Not too showy but nice. What do you think?

If you match the river rock, the house will blend all together.
The river rock is a great feature and I think you need to paint the siding to pop with the roof and rock. The white trim will add another layer of dimension although you could make it cream to soften it up.

Try this color. I love it......Being in the country you'll want to take advantage of the landscape. Play with the sun and make it work for you.

Darken the body color to a mid tone keyed to work with the stone. The white color splits up the house into the stone and the other part- the white part. You want the house to feel whole. If it does it will feel much more substantial and much more elegant. Don't go too dark as you have dark windows which already tend to make the house feel dark. I'm sure they have a dark finish and are not candidates for painting. You also want to go with the roof but don't select a cool body color. Even though the stone is gray it is very warm.

thank you for your input. The house all needs TLC. the eaves are stained dark and in good condition, the windows are painted and need re painting. The doors were stained but in the condition they are in now will need to be painted. we are considering painting it all. Any direction you can give us would be greatly appreciated!

Look at several green shades. It would tie it in nicely with the surrounding area.
