Blue and red striped pillows?

Is there another place that could use a fabulous rug?

No unfortunately not, Its much brighter in person and will not fit my antique decor.

I had thought about taking some red paint and put it in different places in the rug just to make it work... not a good idea... im sooo bummed over this!!!!

I am going to reach out to my friend and pray she hasnt started or has only a couple covered... if she hasn't what color fabric would you suggest for the furniture?

I guess i could sell the rug and go forward with my original color scheme but i soo love this rug, its so bright and inviting.

Starting with the rug, maybe a lime green or pretty blue and brown for the cushion.

Rather than sell the rug, maybe you can sell the red cushion?

The cushions are 7" thick and are so comfy, lol I have priced some in the exact colors you just mentioned but it would be entirely to expensive.

so your saying put a hit of red " here and there" Solid pillows with maybe red piping?

I like to mix up a lot of colors. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. How red is the red rug? It might work with a few more red accents. Give us a photo of them side by side.

Thats my problem, The rug in the pic has no red at all, my patio sofa and love seat will be a nice muted red

I bet your friend who is doing the cushions can use the same fabric to do piping on a couple pillows.

I dont have the cushions they are being reupholstered as we speak.

They are a true red but not bright
