Painting the Jambs

Hello, we purchased and installed the EZY jambs. Our doors/walls are white. What's the best way to get the color of the jambs to match the doors? Just paint, or anything special?

We recommend that you prime and paint the frames the same way as the wall and with the same paint. You do not need to do anything special for the frames.

Thanks! Do you also recommend any product to help pad between the jamb and the door to prevent slamming and paint chipping?

thank you for your question. Smaller rubber bumpers can be added to soften the
door close or a slide arm door closer. As to paint chipping, if the frame has
been suitably prepared for paint the paint will not chip. Before painting the
frame needs
to be free of dust and oil, and paint with the same primer and paint that you
are using on the walls.
