I would paint over the orange wall. Then I would get off white curtains.

i would change the orange wall...not going well with your couch....also for wall you can add a large wall artwork ....to enhance the look....

HI -- Is this the rumpus room or your living room ? The furniture is not right for a living room. Looks like you bought the whole set that was on display in the store . Can some of the pieces be removed . You have everything all lined against the wall like it's a waiting room in a sports clinic . Paint the walls the same color as the drapes . Move the drape panels further out to the sides of the window and do not tie back . Find a rug with a stripe texture or pattern . For cushions maybe some fur or corduroy fabric in neutrals or blues or pick up some color from the rug you find . You need to move the furniture around so to make room for some side tables and lamps . Put the sofa on the longest wall ( 12 inches away from wall ) and then place a chair angled beside . Your furniture choice makes this a bit more difficult to make this a nice room.

I suggest a ornate traditional rug to pull things together. Make sure all the furniture has at least it's front legs planted on it.

I'm thinking a very light grey on the walls and a grey and white area rug. I would do all white window treatment (do not tie back). A white throw on a chair and a couple pillows in your favorite bright color.

I'm guessing you have that many pieces because you need them. I know that room will see great times with family and friends. The single chair might look better on the opposite side of the sofa. I would get creative with pieces for end tables and wall art, also in white , but with that splash of color. I also agree with Lefty 47 in putting window treatments to the outside to widen the windows.

I assume that you have a big TV that is not in the photo. Because all the seating reclines, you do need space and I understand why the coffee table is so far away from the seating, but the room would look better if you just took it out. In addition, all the recliners on the sides are really not that great for watching TV, if it is located in the area not in photo. Do you need all the seating? Is the room used primarily for watching TV??

I don't see how the seaters on the side can watch comfortably. You could turn the side seaters at a angle facing the tv/projector.

Will this work for you? I left in both 2 seaters, but if you can get by with just 1, it would be better. I would angle the singles for better TV viewing. Get an area rug and add the tables and lamps, you need some floor lighting so you can dim those overhead lights.
