The Silhouette does not come in a blackout, the are only available as a room darkening product. The reason for that is because the "louver's" don't shut tight as they do with shutters. However, that being said, how light sensitive are you? I have clients that are perfectly happy with the level of "darkness" that they provide. If however, you are looking for something with that same softness as the Silhouette, but also provides a much darker room I would suggest the Pirouette.

Wonder if they will mix well in a sunroom with plantation shutters? Cannot figure out what to do with a french door with side vents.

House is still under construction, but doors and windows are in.
This gives you an idea of room, windows, the French door we installed, and example of shutters I like.

Also, view from outside. There is another set of French doors off kitchen. The silhouette sheers on doors seemed so pretty in original picture on this discussion.
