I can't think of any rose that color that is a once bloomer. It looks a lot like my Mardi Gras rose.

Looks a little bit like my WESTERLAND. It's a climber, but it also can be grown like a shrub according to HMF. And mine doesn't really repeat very often.

Yes, it looks to me like Westerland, which happens to have quite an upright habit without serious coaxing. A significantly prickly rose is Westerland, with vivid blooms that pale (and canes that darken even in youngsters) as they age. Westerland can easily grow stiff, 8' or taller canes.

Similar in hue is the more polite floribunda Gingersnap, which is, I think, less cold-hardy than Westerland. Based on location alone, though, Gingersnap might be easily ruled out.
