Just a few design questions I have been curious about!
I really want to add fun curtains to the living room, but the couch backs right up to the window. I'm not a fan of roman shades or valences. Is it okay to put then behind a couch that is backed right up to the window?

Also, I'd love to add a gorgeous rug to my dining room to add some color. However, my floor is carpeted. Is it okay to add a rug on top of carpet? Will the weight of the table make the rug lay funny?
