Hi Kim, we built in 2008 and have a whirlpool gold double oven (speedcook on top with radiant/microwave, convection oven below). It has worked flawlessly and I love it. The top oven gets used several times a day - mostly as a microwave. The speedcook feature is a major advance over anything I have used before. The fan on the main oven runs for about 20 minutes after it is shut down, or for about 5 minutes if the door is left open.

We have a single version. Works well and seems to heat pretty evenly. High heat is good - has done great pizza and baguettes. My only complaint is the fan is quite loud and seems to stay home forever! Seems longer than 20 min. Happy with it for price though. I wouldn't trust the self clean either based on reviews but that didn't bother me.

I have the whirlpool gold double wall oven with convection and have used them regularly for the last 3 years or so. No complaints. Cook evenly and well. Complaints would be a relatively long pre heat time, and the cooling fan goes for a good 10 minutes after you the the over off. It would be nice to have the grates ride on ball bearings for smoother operation, but I suspect that setup would make it much harder to clean. love the large volume. Can fit a whole thanksgiving feast between the two of them with room to spare.
