Bosch models are always well rated.

We are happy with Kitchenaid as well.
Recently returned a GE for Kitchenaid.

Just replaced 12+ year old Bosch with a new Bosch 800 series. Bosch is always top rated. Thing is so darn quiet!!!

I've had two Kitchen Aid's in the past 8 years. The motor went out withing a week of the warranty ending on the first one. The drain pump isn't working on the current one after 4 years and making all kinds of weird noises, which means it's about to totally die. They're junk now and don't last. Installing a new Bosch tomorrow. But most applianes don't last these days anyway.

It's also helpful to read the anecdotal review on sites such as Home Depot and Lowes. Note that many of the negative reviews are about delivery, installation, etc., not about the appliance itself.

I've had several Bosch at different homes and I've been happy with them. I also had a Miele at one home where we remodeled the kitchen. In my opinion it was overpriced and I was underwhelmed. I would never buy another one of those.
