I've been considering Men in Black for a bit... what do you think of it? I like those pale style arms - that's a very nice detail!

    Love Muggles!

Men in Black came to me a couple years ago as a very small piece and I think it has had trouble getting established because of its size. I can't really judge it till I see how it blooms this year. I'll let you know :)

'Mariposa Skies', 'Murrah Memorial' and 'Mulberry Rose' look wonderful.

    Here are a few.

Magharee - Blyth'86, love the colors in this iris and a group looks great.

    Mam Zelle - Sutton'02, attractive

Margarita - Schreiner, AM'74, disappointing to me.

    Margarita again

Maroon Doubloon - Scott'02, notice the color change.

Mary Frances - Gaulter, Dykes Medal'79, my absolute favorite, breathtakingly beautiful in person.

Master Plan - Keppel, HM'97, color is accurate on my monitor (rosy with lavender influence).

Merlot - Schreiner, AM'03, have seen better 'reds'.

Moon Over Morro - Scott'00, very pretty.

Mr Three Wiggle - de la Motte'05

Mike, I was just admiring some pictures of 'Salty Skipper', a daylily by Bud Bennett. Is there another irisgal who collects daylilies? doubletigerlily gmail

WolfDoc - when Ghio strikes, it a great one. I saw a picture of him with Keppel and Blyth --- 3 great hybridizers!

sorry new to Houzz and thought the "album" I saw was yours. Looking for the person who took those photos.

Salty Skipper is very pretty... reminds me of one I fell in love with (in photos at least) 'Stephanie Returns' by Apps-Blew 2006.

I've been reading about Ghio on the AIS Encyclopedia online. Wowza - he is amazingly prolific!

Mike, Floota aka Julie Covington (has a daylily blog) took a lot of pictures at Bennett's garden. She posted some on the Daylily Forum back in 2009. I particularly liked Bennett's use of chives as an edging on the daylily beds. Here is her blog link. You may be able to contact her thatta-way ?

WolfDoc: Ghio even did azaelas. Gorgeous salmons & golds.

'Stephanie Returns' - wow, 4 way branching, huge bud count.
