My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Anyone built there own pool?

I'm in the process of researching the installation of a pool. I have a small backyard, so I'm really only looking at around 10K gallons (more like a spool). Anyway, I have read a bunch of stuff now on owner/pool builder and this has peaked my interest. Just wondering if this is something that isn't for the faint of heart. I had a friend who did this, but he did have a guy who was working for a PB who did this as a project on the side. BTW, I'm in Southern California, if that makes a difference.
