Hi

I am building in my front foyer some bench seating with hooks and cubbies. I have looked at a number of sources and they have said use melamine because it is a high traffic area and I do have to young children and it would wear well. I am not planning to build any drawers, all will be open cubbies up top and below. The space for this build is approx. 6 feet in width and 8 feet in height. I would greatly appreciate feedback on the best material to build this. I was initially thinking wood veneer.
