window treatment help

We just built a dining room addition, its small 11X12. We have 2 windows in the front that my mother in law made us beautiful stained glass for. That fit in the bottom window pane but the top pane of the window looks bare. My boyfriend hand made the oak trim/casement on the windows so I do not want to cover up the wood to much but the windows need something on the top..any suggestions? My style is farmhouse/county/antique, The dining room isnt super formal.
