I think the house already looks great. Maybe a couple of flowering trees in the front yard? Re-seed the dead grass along the driveway and sidewalk?

I think the house looks nice as well. You could possibly add new lights to the garage and front door that are larger and have a bit more visual weight to them. Taller planters on either side of your door will also add more color and make the door a focal point.

flower boxes under the bottom windows would add some dimension and depth. Maybe thicker trim around the front door as well.

Ideally you could cover the front door with an overhang as well.

a colonial entry feature over the front door or shutters on the windows would add interest and color. Or perhaps a couple of vertical landscape elements either side of the front door

Shade trees. Maples, oaks, etc out by the street. Sure they take awhile to grow but add lots of value to a property.

A quick & easy, but big change I think, would be to add shutters to the windows.

Ok, so maybe I just love the simple, uncluttered look of colonial facades without shutters. Please don't add them in order to look like every other colonial reproduction. If you need to do something, a simple portico. And landscape trees.

I suggest painting the garage door trim to the color of the house. Garage door should be that color too.

Hello!! I have a suggestion for you. If your budget allows it, I would go for raw cedar shutters and window boxes. It gives a home a big pop of color and a custom feel. Here are some examples.

Yes, your home is beautiful. I would want to add more dimension to the front of the home. You could frame the windows and door. Added assorted shrubbery would also increase the curb appeal.
I also agree with others on changing out the lighting. I would say something larger and I would have fixtures on both sides of the door to keep it balanced.

Why was the portico removed? I think it would look great on this house.

One major aspect I notice is the light fixtures (on both the door and garage). Consider replacing them with beefier fixtures - it will make a huge difference.

I think your windows are too close together to add realistic shutters. Narrow shutters will detract from your home's appeal. Realistic width shutters would likely look like this:

An alternate way to dress up the front could be to add pediments to the front door and above the first floor windows.
