Hood above cooktop

Is that a hood on the ceiling for the stovetop? If it is, do you know who makes it?

There are many options for "insert" type range hoods that can be built into a cabinet, custom hood enclosure, or into the ceiling.

We offer several sizes of "Insert/Liner" hoods, as well as the larger "Skylight" series hoods. Some example photos are attached below. Please feel free to visit www.FuturoFuturo.com to view our 200+ range hood models, or give us a call at 1-800-230-3565.

Our kitchen designer specified this hood... Unfortunately, my clients found that it does not work as well as a conventional hood.

@Habachy Designs: could you provide more information regarding your client's setup? Which model hood did they use, how high above the cooktop is it installed, is it ducted to the outside or recirculating, and how wide is the cooktop?

There's way too much space between the ceiling hood and the cooktop. Downdraft would have been more effective. It's an aesthetic tradeoff unfortunately. They don't make great looking downdrafts for the US market.
