This is the second time my Bush Clover has been dug and sitting in a tub waiting for a new home. Twice since planting it has done well and bloomed beautifully for me but both time I planted it in the wrong spot, third time lucky? I think I have finally found it's forever home out front under the bedroom window, it can do whatever it likes there without looking out of place and it will be a little bit of color out there when everything else is finished. Coming down from the top of the garden I caught a whiff of my Daphne which is in full bloom now in the garden room where we have our Koi pool. This has always been a trigger for me, time to shake the lead out get and get gardening, clematis and roses to prune, and do a general tidying up, then it's two beds that need a complete overhaul, not looking forward to that :(.

I was looking at my pot ghetto this morning, scratching my head over where everything will be planted, that's not so bad but I know once these are planted out it will quickly fill up again. On a happier note I've finally got a nice little patch of English Bluebells established in among some Phuopsis stylosa but there's a hole where the bush Clover was, just have to think which perennial to plant in it's place. Hey maybe I should buy something new for that spot, Ahha a reason to make the rounds of the nurseries :)

Last year I fell in love with the many varieties of Phlox paniculata and Heleniums, bought a few but I managed to slap my fingers when it came to all the Coreopsis varieties that are out there and only purchased one 'Cruizin Main Street'. I also started collecting Sedums, who knew there were so many gorgeous varieties, both taller and ground huggers. I also bought several new Hydrangeas including 'Miss Saori' that gorgeous white double with the pink picotee edges, can hardly wait to see the blooms on that one.
