Hi we are looking for some advice on how to improve/update our kitchen and to make it more functional. We recently moved into this house and the previous owners refaced the cabinets, replaced the back splash and installed quartz countertop. There is only one row of drawers. We don't love the countertop choice with this cabinet however feel it's to new to scrap. also dont love the dark backsplash. We bought some hexagon marble mosiac tile to replace the back splash but it is bringing out the brown in the counter. We want to go with a light grey color scheme. We were also thinking of installing an island of draws (probably 2 36" base cabinets) seating for 4 using either grey cabinets or dark wood with a light greyish white countertop. Also thinking of replacing the plain floor tile with something more modern. The gold flush mount light will be replaced by pot lights. Any ideas or advice?
