Thanks JS Brown. That was my thought too. We had an existing screen porch upstairs and enclosed it with double hung windows and a door leading out to the deck. Our walls and ceiling are also wood. The original exterior porch wall is painted cedar siding.I wanted the new room to be a light, bright sun room so I really didn't want to leave the original exterior wall the same color as the remaining exterior of the house.
