They took great care to prepare for the demo to ensure our hardwood floors would not be damaged. Dave West our project manager was always on site when there were subcontractors present to ensure things were done right. Our new kitchen is beautiful, and it was finished five weeks early, just in time for Thanksgiving. There are not enough superlatives to describe how we feel about the quality work that JS Brown does. We can summarize our experience with J.S. Brown with one word: Phenomenal! Our project included removal of a load bearing wall to open up the kitchen / sunroom / family room, as well as the addition of a large, covered patio. Included with that were a new kitchen, new flooring throughout the entire house, and a new portico over a side door. We had a team of eight J.S. Brown employees working on our project, each one incredibly gifted in their field. Even the subcontractors that were on our job were talented, polite and a pleasure to have in our home. The initial job cost estimate versus our final cost was well managed, and the few mutually agreed upon change orders were discussed in advance. Daily communication and exquisite craftsmanship were what made J.S. Brown & Co. truly phenomenal. We cannot praise them enough.

When we decided to pursue our dream kitchen, we knew our vision would be different than many Central Ohioans. We wanted super sleek, ultra modern, clean lines, and black and white. Not only was the JS Brown up for the task, they seemed genuinely excited to tackle a less common project and helped us interpret our dream into something that fit our square footage, our budget,and our love of al things contemporary. Wendy's guidance in design, layout, and product selection was invaluable and we always knew she completely understood our vision and helped to make it a reality. Our "hands-on team," Matt and Dylan, were professional, thorough, kind, unbelievably hard-working with unmatched attention to detail and concern for our safety and happiness since we were working from home throughout the construction. Matt was unfailingly cheerful and so, so talented in his work. Dylan is a master carpenter and took such care in ensuring our home was completely cleaned up each evening before he left for the day. More than once, they would see some detail that they thought wasn't perfect enough and would address that minor issue. That's significant because it would usually be something so small that we hadn't even noticed it. For us, that spoke volumes about Matt and Dylan's integrity and the pride they take in their work. As excited as we were to have our beautiful, functional, breathtakingly modern kitchen complete, we commented that we would actually miss seeing Matt, Dylan, and Wendy. We had an incredible experience with JS Brown and would highly recommend that anyone in Central Ohio trust that they are getting the highest quality for their dollar with this company.

From the initial meeting to the final walk-through, J.S. Brown & Co. exceeded expectations! Our complete kitchen remodel began with design consultant Wendy Sorenson. Several remodeling/renovation companies met with us, yet Wendy’s professionalism, knowledge, experience, and personable demeanor differentiated her and J.S. Brown from the competition. Then senior design consultant Brittany Aleshire patiently, intuitively, and skillfully fine-tuned designs for each inch of our kitchen. Production manager Paul Martin was on the ball in ensuring the installation team flawlessly made our dream kitchen a reality, while meeting each project milestone along the way. The team working in our home – Mike H., Dylan K, Josh B., Don G., and Jim S. (off-site), & Margie R. Excellent company! We have remodeled our entire house over 20 plus years. Work has ranged from roof to adding a wine room. We have also done family room, living, dining, kitchen , four bedrooms, baths, study, entry, laundry. Always professional and cognizant of clients needs. Projects included beam work, new flooring, electric, plumbing, anywhere from structural to cosmetic. We still consult for small home needs and would not hesitate to employ for any larger projects to come. Top notch!!!

We have used J.S. Brown twice over the last 15 years to execute on (old) home renovation including new kitchen, half bath, full bath in 2005 and recent updates in 2018 which included master redesign, carpet replacement, and family room renovation. I would highly recommend their design/build team that takes care of all of your needs.

We have had J.S. Brown complete 2 large projects on our Clintonville home over the past decade. The first project included an overhaul/upgrade of our Kitchen and 2 bathrooms. This project included the resizing of interior doorways and a closet. They also performed structural work to "hide" a beam in our kitchen ceiling. They did an excellent job in relocating items in the kitchen and bathrooms to maximise the utilization of the existing space. We were so pleased in the quality of work that was performed during our first project, we did not consider anyone else to perform the second project. The second project included redesigning the master bedroom and TV room; replacing the roof over the TV room; replacing and widening one interior and two exterior doorways; replacing carpet throughout the house; and refinishing the downstairs hardwood floors. We will be using J.S. Brown again if we need any additional work performed. P.S. I would add photos if the house was not a mess at the time I wrote this review. :-)

I first hired J.S. Brown in 2019 to remodel the kitchen and add a half bath to my 1913 Clintonville home. They kept me involved every step of the way and provided their expertise in selecting design options. My new kitchen is unbelievable and it is so great to have a bathroom on the first floor! Based on this experience, I hired them again to replace my old, wooden front porch. Again, they went above and beyond, also figuring out and fixing what was causing the leak in my basement. As we speak, I am squirreling away $$ so I can hire J.S. Brown to remodel my upstairs!

I can't begin to say enough positive compliments about the helpful professional guidance and design expertise the J.S. Brown team provided. My husband and I made a decision to make a life-style change by selling our large family home and then purchasing a smaller two story condominium. This renovation was expansive - floors were jackhammered, some interior walls were removed, some new interior walls were built, structural and decorative beams and columns were added, and all electrical and plumbing systems were changed and upgraded. Every room in the condominium was remodeled. To me, the exciting part of this story is how successfully JS Brown transformed our new home - the difference between the "before" photos and the "after" photos is striking and dramatic! When I look back at the original photos when we first bought this condo and compare it to how my home looks now, I am especially thankful for the high quality workmanship of the JS Brown team. They created an original floor plan that makes clever use of the available space. Now, all of the interior spaces with very tall ceilings have been transformed into high use areas - our living room, family room, and kitchen feel open and spacious. And, we also have a wonderful first floor master bedroom/master bath suite which was one of our other design priorities. Thanks to JS Brown, this home "lives larger' than it actually is. I love it!

Please be careful not to loose your sleep and health on this so called "remodeling company". Just let me explain what our experience with this company had been. We have contacted this company in 2016 to add a bedroom in the first floor by converting the existing sun room in to a bed room. in addition we wanted to add a new sun room and a balcony over it. Of course the bed room supposed to have a small attached bath room. The Architect from JD Brown & Co came home multiple times and took the measurements and started making architectural drawings. We told the JD Brown & Co at the beginning of the project that our budget was 200k and the company accepted it to begin the work on drawings but said the price could become higher by another 50k. We were unhappy but said OK to this price. As he continued with his drawings of the proposed remodeling, he said the project would cost still more than 250k and the new price was 300k. We were upset with the way this guy kept on increasing the price of the project. we had no choice because we have already spilled lot of money already towards development of these drawings. Finally he said the balcony was too big and reduced the size of it by reducing length by balcony by five feet. By this time we have already paid him $10,000.00 towards his drawings which did not make much sense. We reluctantly agreed to continue because we have already spent substantial money on development of architectural drawings. Finally he said he needed to crunch some more numbers before he could finally come up with the final cost of the project. we received an e mail from JD Brown with project cost of $450,000 to 500,000. This is ridiculous amount which was never agreed upon at any time during the discussions and did not make any sense. We wanted our money back which we already paid towards these drawings and by the way he said we could not use these drawings with other builders. At the end, it is a total dump of 10K. He agreed to pay us back 2.5lk and that is where we are at with this time with this scamming company. we have not received any money back so far. Please be aware of this company's nefarious activities. We don't even know the structural integrity of these drawings or if they were correct drawings at all to pass through the Dublin city hall to approve for a safety certification. If at all you want to hire this company please be firm at the beginning and do not pay any money upfront. This company keep scamming the people which is very unfair and unfortunate.

I have completed two projects with this company; one was major (2011) and the other was a smaller project (2020). If I decide on a third project, I will hire them again. They make sure that design is not only what the customer wants, but that it is buildable, durable and affordable. I was impressed that they still had the records from the 2011 remodel which helped in planning the more recent house upgrade. They stand behind their work and their reputation.

JSBrown recently remodeled our Master Bath (including closet involving taking space from other bedroom in the house) and did a superb job. From design (3 options presented) to selection of items (cabinets, fixtures etc), Monica and her team were extremely professional and helpful. The construction crew communicated with us weekly via email and daily during the job - it was great. We love the final feel and functionality of our remodeled area!

We were very nervous beginning a large outdoor remodeling project (siding, roof, AND a brand new front porch). The very first day we had a major change order, but the J.S. Brown team quickly responded so that our project could move forward safely and timely. We knew we were in good hands. Monica Miller, our design consultant, was wonderful- sharing ideas and personal experiences. She kept giving suggestions (and talking through concepts) until she was sure we had exactly what we wanted. We hired J.S. Brown as general contractor to renovate our new [to us] house in Upper Arlington early in 2016. The reno included full kitchen renovation, changing the layout of the house, minor renovations of all bathrooms (floors, vanity tops, all fixtures), and creating a mudroom. Monica was our designer, and Andy managed the work. We were very impressed with how responsive everyone at J.S. Brown have been, during the project and after. All work has been done on time or early, and things proceeded very smoothly despite the inevitable surprises that you find during a major renovation. Additional vents were installed, walls and columns built, everything brought up to code, and all city inpections passed. J.S. Brown provides one year warrantee on all work, which is important because little things tend to happen when the house is in use. Every time we needed them come back to fix something, it was done quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend J.S. Brown for major renovation work.

J.S. Brown is a very professional company that provides high quality design, workmanship and a beautiful final product! Our project included total renovation of the kitchen and continuing the tile floor into the family room. The designer, Monica Miller, met with us and suggested that we review kitchens on houzz so that she would have a sense of our thinking. She then suggested cabinetry, lighting, counter tops and backsplash that go with our mid-century style home. She gave us many choices and was always aware of the price point. The project manager was always in communication and followed through with all our concerns. The project was on time and budget with excellent quality work.

This is the second time we have hired JS Brown for a remodel, and we are just as pleased as we were with the first project (a very large kitchen/laundry room/sitting room/bedroom remodel). Our project manager had very high standards for how things should look, function, and blend in with the rest of the house. He made many suggestions that were above and beyond our expectations. Our designer brought exceptional creativity and expertise to the project. Our cabinets were custom made and are absolutely wonderful. We love the under cabinet lights that turn on when you enter the bathroom. The heated floors are very comforting on cold winter mornings. JS Brown does high end work, with very high standards of expertise and quality. They show up every day and keep to their project schedule. They hire only the best subcontractors. I had my basement remodeled. I found J.S. Brown so easy to work with. They were professional and helpful through every phase of the project. The work is high quality and the cabinets are beautiful. My basement went from concrete floors and walls to a space that is so comfortable and useable. J.S.Brown and Monica in particular helped me achieve what I wanted the space to be.

I have used J.S. Brown for 3 remodeling projects. A kitchen, bathroom and screened in porch. You get what you pay for and they do not rush through the job. I continue to use them for their quality of workmanship, Chris Allen, the production manager and Monica Miller their design consultant. I have no design skills so this helps me greatly to have this service included. I could ask Monica anything about the design details and she always offered to go shopping with me for paint colors or any design needs of the project. . Chris was so helpful also and always responded quickly to my questions and changes.

This is the second renovation project I have worked on with Monica Miller and J S Brown. In both projects, it was evident why the company's rating is excellent. I found Ms. Miller to be knowledgeable of current trends and materials, have excellent listening skills and an ability to work within budget parameters. J.S. Brown Co. is a top notch remodeling provider, they have very experienced project managers and design consultants. I found it very helpful to have the designers input coordinating granite colors, flooring and applicance selection. My project manager Chris, was efficient, always communicated with me regarding any issues or changes and along with Chris came a very hard working crew. The other project coordinator, Andy, was an extremely talented carpenter and very detail oriented who left nothing unnoticed and was superb at creating some interesting design aspects into my kitchen and bath remodel. I have worked with this company in the past and would not hesitate to work with them again, I would recommend them to anyone in need of a remodel, they are the best!

Repurposed an existing room. From storage to climate controlled wine room. Spectacular result, a few hiccups along the way. Overall happy with results.

Wow! From the first meeting with Monica, from JS Brown, to the final walk through we were more than impressed with JS Briwn and company. We interviewed four remodeling companies for our project. As soon as Monica completed her presentation to us, on her initial visit, we knew we had made our decision and, it turned out to be the best decision we have ever made. Our home is an older Clintonville home. And, part of the foundation around the original bump out was damaged. Monica came up with three beautiful addition designs. She presented all three and helped us pick the one that would fit our daily living needs. In addition, the workers were wonderful, and respectful of our home and space. We had to live in the house during the remodeling and they came up with solutions to make it as comfortable as possible for us. The job was completed within the timeline provided and, within the budget presented to us. And, it is beautiful! What an outstanding job!! We have a mud room equipped with beautiful and functional cubbies in the back of the house. The half bath is perfect and, the kitchen is breathtaking. In addition, we had all the siding replaced and, new hardwood flooring put in throughout the main floor. JS Brown took care of all of this; meeting the contractors and workers so, we could continue with our daily responsibilities without being interrupted. Also, Monica met us at various vendors to help as make our decisions on items such as appliances, hardware, cabinets, etc. And, she made herself available anytime we needed her or, had questions. We just cannot say enough good things about Monica....and the whole team at JS Brown. We highly recommend them and, we will definitely use them again.

We decided to downsize and purchased a cute little lived-in home that was in need of remodeling. J.S. Brown & Co. helped us choose new materials and then took the reigns! Our kitchen was the biggest project, as it seemed small and dark. New lighter flooring and counter tops, and updated back splash and appliances have made our kitchen cheery and welcoming. Our laundry room (right off the kitchen) was gutted and also re-floored with the same tile and counter top to make a nice flow. We kept our beautiful cherry kitchen cabinets, but wanted the same cabinets in the laundry. J.S. Brown & Co. located a wonderful carpenter who was able to duplicate the look. He was also able to add new cupboard doors to our open island, glass doors to our family room built-ins, and a small cabinet in our master toilet room. We downsized our house and furnishings, but didn't want to downsize our clothes, so J.S. Brown & Co. built a roomy cedar closet into a corner of our basement. Something we've always wanted! Everyone at J.S. Brown & Co. were professional and courteous with any questions or concerns we had. Our remodel was completed, from new knobs to shiny new appliances, before we had to move out of our old home. Thanks to J.S. Brown & Co. we're living in our dream home we plan to retire in!

Monica Miller was amazing to work with on our bathroom remodel projects. From initial design to final walk-through her creative talents, experience and product knowledge resulted in new bathrooms that exceed our expectations. She was always accessible and I especially enjoyed the opportunity to shop together and select products that we really love!

We purchased our current Upper Arlington home back in 2007. During our first visit to the home, the previous owners provided plans that an architect had prepared to build an approximately 520 square foot addition to the back of the home to facilitate a new larger kitchen and family room. Ultimately, the owners did not move forward with the project and ultimately decided to move to a new home instead. However, seeing these plans gave us the ability to see the potential of what the house could be. We were very interested in the home, but we wanted to get a rough estimate as to the cost of the remodeling project per the plans. We did not have kids at the time and were thinking we could live at the house as-is for about 8 to 10 years, or until our kids got a bit older. At the time, we really didn't know many home remodeling companies, but my parents knew several people who worked with JS Brown on projects. At their suggestion, we contacted JS Brown to see if someone could come out to our home and look at the plans to provide us with a rough assessment of the cost of the project. Monica Miller came to the home and not only looked at the work per the plans, but also suggested other components of the home that we could ultimately consider. She then took the plans back to her office and provided us with budget ranges for the work in the plans and some of the other suggested improvements to the home. The time and efforts she put in to this pro-bono work was a huge reason we ultimately purchased the home. Fast forward to one month ago, and we are at the 8 year point where we are ready to move forward with a home remodeling project. We intially brought five companies to our home to consider for the project. JS Brown was one of those companies. We spoke with Jeff Brown at the Spring, 2015 NARI Tour of Remodeled homes and mentioned our fantastic experience with Monica eight years ago, and asked if she could come to our home again to talk about what we are thinking for our current project. She again came to our home initially and provided many fantastic ideas to reconfigure the entire first floor that we didn't even think of. We ultimately had a second meeting with her at their office to look at some sample past projects that they have done to get a sense for the costs of similar projects and what they were ultimately priced out at. She also provided budget ranges for the various aspects of the projects so we can have a better idea of cost. Ultimately, we ended up chosing another company for our project, but it was absolutely painful for me to have to call and tell Monica that we did indeed chose another company because quite honestly, they were neck and neck with the other firm, we could have flipped a coint to decide who we went with. Anyhow, I just wanted to talk about our experiences and illustrate what a high quality firm JS Brown is. For their company to come to a home that we had not even purchased yet to discuss in detail the original plans and other ideas speaks volumes to the company and their customer service. I would recommend that anyone considering a home remodeling company consider JS Brown in their mix based on our fantastic experience with them!

We were so glad that we selected Monica Miller of JS Brown as our designer for our home renovation/remodel. Everyone associated with this project was professional and highly talented. They worked with us and other team members respectfully and creatively. Dave West, our project manager, treated our project as though it was his own. He inspected the ongoing work with an eagle eye, often noticing small improvements or corrections that needed to be made, even when I hadn't noticed. He solved challenges along the way creatively and communicated with us continuously. He came here for extra times when he was needed and gave us honest advice when asked. He stayed late often. When challenges and glitches occurred everyone in the company and connected with JS Brown, from Jeff Brown, owner, to all employees and subcontractors came together to help find a solution. We wished for this home renovation for over 40 years. When we finally decided to do it we were so worried that there would be problems, and there were, but JS Brown was there for us all the way. Hiring this firm was the best decision we could have ever made!

We have had a very important, 20 year relationship with JS Brown & Co. They did two major remodeling jobs for us during this time, which both turned out fantastic. In addition, we have relied on Jeff's advice numerous times, to refer contractors for small repair jobs. I have never been disappointed with the company's services. The company does a great job of selecting sub-contractors and managing their work. Attention to detail is excellent. Design services are creative and collaborative. The construction managers we have worked with from the company have been wonderful - very respectful of our homes and privacy, timely, and their work is high quality. JS Brown & Co has been a trusted contractor and advisor to us, and we recommend their services to anyone who is considering construction projects such as remodeling.

From the first meeting to the finished project, all of the staff of J.S. Brown & Co. were professional, communicated with us constantly, and made us feel comfortable. They had ideas that we didn't even think of and were also open to our ideas as well. The staff kept to their scheduled deadlines, and in fact completed the job 2 weeks early. This was the first time we had renovated our house and if we had to do it over again, we would definitely work with J. S. Brown & Co. again.

We hired JS Brown after years of interviewing many different contractors, architects, builders. We were impressed with Monica Miller from our very first meeting with her, and our first impressions were the correct ones. We wanted to remodel our family room, creating a more open space between it and our kitchen. She turned our desires into exactly what we wanted. Our project team, Dave and Ted, were amazing. Rebuilt my attached two car garage as part of an insurance claim. We want significant changes to be made to the original plans. Jeff Brown clearly communicated how changes would be made and explained the time schedule. Work was performed on time and on budget.

J.S. Brown has completed several major renovation projects for my home. I have found them to be creative,respectful of my opinion and budget. All projects have been completed timely and with very high quality work. They communicate well and are very accomodating to a busy schedule. I will use them for future projects without hesitation.

J.S. Brown helped us to redo an extra bathroom in our house. Their work is absolutely impeccable and their service is top notch. I had trouble choosing my materials and Monica was very patient with me and helped to make the process easier. Norm did a wonderful job working on the job. He was in the house working every day for weeks and we hardly knew he was there. He worked diligently at all times and we are very pleased with the quality of the work that was performed. We have used J.S. Brown for other projects and we wouldn't think of using another company because we know that they are always going to deliver the best quality job which gives us peace of mind.

We hired JS Brown Co. to put on a front porch for us. We also had them change our siding and update our windows. They did a wonderful job! Our porch is lovely and we still get compliments from friends, as well as passersby. Our house looks like a new house. We were thrilled with the service and time to complete the job.

Monica helped me design an outdated kitchen and master bath. She was professional, efficient, and had many great ideas and suggestions. The projects were completed in a timely manner and everyone was very happy with the results. I would highly recommend her and her staff.

Jeff Brown, his designer, Brandon and project manager, Chris did a wonderful job on our house remodel. Based on a basic concept I provided, they came up with a very good design and better execution. Our remodel included converting a screened porch into a bar/den and hearth room. A new screened porch and covered porch with cooking island were added.

In 1995 my parents contracted with J.S. Brown & Co. to remodel a house they purchased in Bexley, OH. The experience they had at that time was such a positive one, that my mother had no reservations about returning to them to remodel her condo where she now lives. My father has since passed away, so I was very involved in all aspects of this remodel. Without hesitation, I would personally hire this firm for my own remodeling needs in the future. In this day and time, I have found it difficult to find a combination of integrity, knowledge, expertise and superior craftsmanship all under one umbrella. J.S. Brown & Co. embodies all of these. Jeff Brown has assembled a fantastic group of team members and excellent subcontractors, who were kind and courteous at all times to both of us. The job entailed gutting the entire first floor of her condo, creating an office, a laundry room, knocking out walls, relocating the master bedroom and bath, creating a den, and totally remodeling the kitchen. Every week we were sent "This Week on Your Job", which was a day-to-day schedule for the coming week. We knew what time to expect someone and who it would be. At the end of the day everything was cleaned up. Obviously, when one decides to enter into a remodeling project, one wants an exceptional product at the end of the experience. We have that! What meant even more to us was the way the entire process was handled...with honesty and integrity, and respect for our mother, who lived upstairs through the whole project for three and a half months.

We hired J.S. Brown & Co. to complete a master suite addition and remodel, and could not be happier with the results. The project included a 2-foot addition (including exterior roofline and stucco walls) to the shower area and walk-in closet, in addition to remodeling the rest of the bathroom along with custom cabinetry. Monica Miller was very helpful in narrowing down what we were looking for during the design phase. She presented us with several design plans to help us focus on just one plan. Chris Allen was a great project manager, who kept us informed, and was always available to handle issues that can occur. Andy Vasko is an exceptional carpenter and was great to work with on a daily basis. They all are very professional, and were very accommodating with our last minute changes. Highly recommended.

I have worked with JS Brown on multiple projects since 2005. They have gutted and rebuilt kitchen, family room, laundry room, and two baths; added on a two car garage and reworked a basement. Their work is outstanding, from the planning stages to the finished project. We request the same project manager, Dave West, each time. He takes the time to listen to what I am expecting in the little details (color of outlets, placement of vents etc.) and makes sure that the big details (moving walls, replacing ceiling, placement of windows) are executed with precision. They stand by their work and do not hesitate to come back if needed. Importantly they have a positive attitude about the project from the beginning and keep us in the loop with progress and delays. Information flow and attitude are extremely important details of remodeling that are often overlooked, but not by JS Brown & Co.

J.S. Brown completed a remodel of our bathroom and master closet and added a laundry area to our 2nd floor. They were fantastic to work with from start to finish. Monica really guided us on the design and we couldn't be happier with the result. From tile, to fixtures, to a bold suggestion of a blue ceiling, the bathroom looks AMAZING and we've received nothing but compliments from those who have seen it. Dave and his team were very respectful of our neighbors and our house while they were working here. They really exceeded our expectations in the job they did. The design expertise she brought to our project was exactly the type of professional help we needed to create a buildable project out of our needs and wishes. One thing that impressed me as much as anything was the way they turned over the project from Monica to the project manager who handled the day-to-day details. Their process was so thorough I adopted some of the same practices in the commercial HVAC service company where I work. Project expectations we had conveyed to Monica during the design phase were recorded and documented so that the project team would execute them. We've been living in the space for a few years now and the greatest compliment (which has come several times) is when someone stops and says they love that our design, while a major one, fits so seamlessly with the neighborhood and the other houses therein.

In planning to remodel a half bath we stumbled upon a few cosmetic issues. I spoke with a few contractors, not pleased or excited about their suggestions. I decided to contact JS Brown and felt optimistic about the project at once. My designer, Monica Miller, was wonderful! Her creative ideas, helpfulness in picking things out while sticking to the budget, and pleasant personality made the once "dreaded" project an enjoyable one! Love our new half bath!

J.S. Brown completed a half bath floor project. This included the reinforcement of the floor joists and installation of new sub-floor. They also layed new tile, wood trim, new toilet flange and reset the toilet. All work was completed on time and very professional. The site was cleaned well at completion.

Excellent quality work and project management. Choice of who overseas project is very important. We had to argue with the lead person on our project and he made several critical errors - most of which were caught by the crew and corrected, or were corrected at our request.

We met with JS Brown and several other contractors to find a contractor to do an addition to our home. We found Brown to be professional and very helpful in the design of the project. We weren't sure exactly what we wanted but after several meetings with the design staff, they presented us with several options and worked with us to help us make our final decision on the design. We added a family room and work-out room. We also revamped a media room, kitchen, and bedroom. The project included a new maintenance free deck, and new hardwood floors throughout. They were very professional, helped us when we wanted to make minor changes, handled everything with the sub-contractor, who were also very good.

Jeff Brown and crew completed a family room and bedroom remodel in our cape cod. they worked very hard to please us and to get the work done on time. There was a lot of cabinetry that was made by an Amish builder who did not have a phone and everything had to be communicated by driving to his farm. Jeff went to every length to get the fireplace, TV cabinet, desk and shelving made so that it is perfect. We are very satisfied with the project.

We can not say enough about JS Brown. We worked with Monica Miller and she was fantastic. She helped us through the entire process and even dealt with some last minute panic/change that we wanted to make. She was a true professional. Our project manager was amazing as well. Dave West, kept us in the loop on the progress and was always available for questions! We are so please with our master bathroom remodel!

We have had the J.S. Brown Co. do 3 home remodeling projects- from a total kitchen remodel to a smaller master bath remodel and have found Jeff Brown & Co.to be extremely professional but provide a family-like relationship with their clients. Monica Miller was the project design consultant for our kitchen renovation project. My wife and I were extremely satified with Monica's combination of creative and practical skills. She was an excellent listener and grasped what we wanted in our new kitchen and then presented a series of options from which to choose. In addition, Monica was able to accommodate our respective work schedules and often met with us in the evening. Once work on the project started, she stayed in close contact the construction leader to make sure we were on schedule. We hired Monica after a very enthusiastic referral from a friend. We found out why pretty quickly. Monica's professionalism, knowledge and flexibility in scheduling won us over. We did a whole house renovation, with most of the work and planning done on the kitchen. No detail was overlooked, and we were given an exhaustive list options with pros and cons for each Of course, if you wanted the short version or reached decision fatigue, Monica was happy to let you know what she would do if it were her house - an option we utilized a few times! Monica Miller of J.S. Brown designed and implemented a basement renovation project for my 1920's house. My goal was to add a bathroom with a shower, a home-office work area, and lots of storage space. The small area, uneven floor, low ceiling height and many other issues presented a number of challenges. Monica did a great job designing through the issues. Monica's overall management of the construction project as it progressed was perfect. Her attention to detail (down to the finest of details) throughout the project was remarkable.
