Need Rug/ curtain/ accessory advice

Would like advice on a rug in the couch area. Love the oriental rug in the nook behind couch near back slider but not set on another one in front of couch. Thoughts?
Neutral walls, white blah curtains, grey couch and navy & white pillows. Would like a rug to pull the room together. My style is transitional, and the rustic coffee table may need to be replaced with something better to fit the space. Any other advice to make my space cozy?
