I am looking for ideas for a backsplash

I got Alaska white granite, and I tried to go with 'special grey' glass subway tile from Olympia. I really wanted it to be light grey that went with those taupe/grey parts of the granite, but it looks like a soft green. Not bad, not great, and definitely not grey. My color consultant said that if I want a true grey, I should go with an opague tile. In any case, keep it super simple with the backsplash, due to the pattern on your tile.

@Amanda - no, they are called "special grey" and they are from Olympia Tile. In some lights they look grey, but it depends on the time of day. My walls are painted BM "marscapone", which has yellow undertones, and we currently have very warm incandescent lights in the kitchen, so that may be impacting the color as well.
