We want to replace our oak fireplace surround and mantel with MSI ledger stone in Golden Honey and get a barn beam mantle. We are having some problems trying to decide how high to go up with the stone as their is a large window directly above our fireplace. Should we carry the stone above the mantle or should we cap the stone with the mantle?
