How to speed up moss growth

Hi,
I got a square of 2x2 inch wild moss and I want to make it grow.
From what I understood moss work this way :
-It has no vascular system so it cannot store energy, it is either active or dormant
-for it to be active 3 things needs to happen :
---moisture
---light
---heat (more than 20°F)
-It has no roots so it does not take anything from the soil, only from the water directly in contact to it or from the air.
Can I disolve something in the water which will help it grow? can I use 24/24h, 7/7 light for it to be active all the time?

Not meant to be rude.If you take moss with some water.Put it in a blender then paint brush on where you want it to grow.

Clear the ground around the moss and flatten it really well. Pack it down firmly. Moss loves poor soil, sandy and with a little clay. The biggest obstacle is competition from other plants, rocks, leaf mulch and so on. You'll get spore propagation pretty quickly. Do keep the ground moist, but never soggy.

I love me some moss :)
