Raspberry planting no till

Hi, I am looking to expand my raspberries this yr. I ordered 10 Boyne which I tilled up last fall. I decided to order 5 heritage also, but do not have a spot prepared. Any suggestions for planting? I can till some in spring if the ground dried up.

I also ordered them to.be shipped first week of may. Is this good timing?

Finally, I'm looking to keep these organic. Any re commendations for fertilizer? I will probably till in some horse manure. Thx.

I don't till, but I amend the soil when planting to be about halfway between what you currently have and the best possible soil for that plant. THen I drop diverse organic matter on top of it every year. We do it organically, permaculture style. It works for us. We don't fertilize, we just use some but not a whole lot of compost. John S
