Need help with iceberg lettuce.

Hi all. I am doing a garden this year with one of my crops being iceberg lettuce. This will be my first year planting them so I hope to have a good outcome. I do know that this variety of lettuce requires a long growing season and cool temperatures to thrive. Ive also read that iceberg lettuce bolts at around anything over 80 degrees F. I started the seeds indoors and they sprouted about a week ago. My question is: if I transplant them in the ground around March 16 will it be too early, and if I plant them at that time can I expect a harvest by the end of may, before summer hits. I live in the southern PA region...Thanks in advance!!
