@tooky58, Design-Build – for me, marries the worlds of design and
construction. This requires a mutually respected team of a designer (sometimes an architect, depending upon the complexity of the project); a
builder; and a home owner. The team is fairly paid for their expertise and
work and the client’s budget, wants, and needs are respected. Since it is one team, the lines of communication are very clear.

In Montana they are quite popular and the route many homeowners take to remodel/build a home.

Very popular here in Colorado.
