Pretty charming home. Black Shutters and Door. Trim the hedge a few more inches down.

The house has a very clean look. The only other option I might consider is two small trees flanking either side of the door if you have planting space. That would provide a little bit more of a statement to direct you towards the front door. Maybe even a vine? You are on the right track!!! Good luck!

I would choose a darker red for the front door, and the shutters a dark gray similar to the roof color.

Remove the shutters and replace all of the hedges with more airy open plantings. Paint the doors black. You might want to darken all the white trim and garage door, but I don't have a specific suggestion yet.

Beautiful home -- it has great curb appeal as is. Beware trying to fix that which is not broken.

Your door looks great. A bright gawdy color would not be an improvement over the classic wood -- it would be a serious downgrade.

You could consider painting the shutters near the garage (perhaps a medium gray) and that could be an improvement over white; however, since all windows don't have shutters, leaving them as is rather than painting them or just removing them would likely be better ideas.

I have seen 2' deep white wood arbors added over a garage that helped; in other instances, however, it didn't. This would be a matter of taste. I'd not add them here.
