I have clivia growing in a large pot on my porch--it's been there for probably 10 years and has always done well. Last year we removed a tree that was providing extra shade and during the summer quite a few of the leaves on the clivia burned and turned brown on the edges, but I left them alone. Now that the plant is starting bloom, the sunburned leaves look especially ugly. Should I cut them off at the base? Should I wait until the plants finish blooming?
