    The countertop is a Natural Quartzite called Madreperola. We found this slab at MS International in Seattle. The stone can vary greatly depending on where it was quarried, so we would highly recommend you select your specific slab(s) with this product.

    Yes, sealing is recommended. It's very similar to granite.
