Hello - your observation is correct. These doors are called a twin by fold application using a ball catch as the mechanism to keep them closed. These are solid core doors and are quite heavy. We had them built using larger heavy duty hindges and the doors have performed beautifully. There are three hindges per door. Have a wonderful day!!
