Hi guys,

I am stuck with ideas for the new townhome I recently bought. The living room layout is tricky because of the stairs. The TV unit seems to stuck at one position (due to wiring) and sofa has to be in front of the TV. I love funky ideas and was thinking to use large open shelves to divide the living room space but can't find a good spot to break the ice. It is a brand new home but I really want to change the existing layout and make it more interesting. My biggest enemy is the lack of a complete wall for floating shelves/wall shelves and Sofa position.

I am open minded to any ideas (crazy or not :P) and believe good ideas always beats the limitation of space. Please help and let imagination fly :)
