I think I'd go the largest scale linen look porcelain tile for the flooring.

This is my bathroom right now. The shower floor I was told has to be small to allow the flow of water to the drain.

Is that an optical illusion or are those tiles actually 3 diminsional if so i would rethink that for shower walls just think about slipping and hiting that tile. As floor tile smal and white if there are no other accent tile being used.

I agree w Patricia about not doing dimensional tiles in a shower. If you do choose to go that route however you will need to stay w a smaller scale tile for the floor for drainage and slippage so consider flat river pebbles or just a 1x1 or 2x2 solid color porcelain.

I thought I found the perfect tile. I fell in love with the 3D shapes when I saw it. Thank you for all your feedback. Based on your suggestions, I may have to go back to the drawing board.

Unglazed porcelain tiles like that are a total bear to keep clean.

I suggest you start doing research on the different methods of waterproofing your shower. That is a much more important consideration during the planning phase.

As this is an older thread, I'm wondering what direction you went in. I also have chosen a white textured tile for an accent wall in the shower. I plan on pairing it with a 1x1 or 2x2 concrete looking shower floor. my dilemma now is deciding which size will most likely fade away because I don't want it competing with the white wall.

I decided to go with what my heart desired and I absolutely love the fact that I did.
