Wow! Where do you live that the labor is so inexpensive? I live on an island and the local gal who does reupholstery told me she would charge $650 for a Queen Ann, and that didn't include the fabric. However, it's a good suggestion and merits asking around. Perhaps my friend will be pleasantly surprised. Thanks!

I live in Southwest Florida. It's ridiculous that anyone would charge $650 for a slipcover for a chair but the fact that you live somewhere that may not offer as many options means people can charge what they want because they know your options are limited. Good luck!
