From what I have been told the 100 series casements and fixed are a pretty good window. Performance wise casements and fixed would obviously be the best performers of a mfrs offerings and these are no exception. I believe Windows on Washington actually has these in his house and will probably chime in shortly as well.

Soft-lite can be painted on the exterior in the bronze I believe.

the 100 series can be seen at some Home Depots. Have not used the 100's but the casements look like a nice unit.

We've installed the Andersen 100 casements and have had no issues to date. I think they're a fine choice.

I've been on vacation. I play the role of satisfied customer on these Andersen 100 threads. Since you've made your choice I just want to offer a little unsolicited advice.

We were a remote build so I left some details up to the professionals. We have a lot of glass, and some of the melds (is this the right term?) contain both fixed and casement windows. In those, they decided to use the profile of the casement all the way across because "that's what most customers request." I would have done it by function instead. It's a little thing, and you may prefer the consistency, but I just wanted to throw in my 2c.

Mine are black exterior and they look fantastic. I liked bronze as well, but my spouse wanted a more graphic look.

Kitchen - 1 casement 2 fixed melded all with the casement profile.

DR - 1 casement 2 fixed. Separated so the 2 have the fixed profile.
