I'm hoping that we in Wisconsin (Zone 5,5a) will still get a snow or two but just yesterday noticed Sandhill Cranes flying overhead on the way home from work. It was 64 degrees!

Before heading into the house I did a quick look at my green and snowless back yard and found that some soapwort groundcover grew quite a bit from the 3-4" inches I saw in the fall.

Buried in straw was bright green growth in my everbearing strawberries.

I'm excited that spring is coming early but my lord this is too soon!
