How would you work with a black canopy iron bed?

What type of dressers or bedside tables (shape/material/texture/color) would you recommend to go with this queen-sized black canopy iron bed? I'd like storage for clothing as well as sufficient surface space for lamps, books, and other misc. as most likely we will be incorporating a small nursery into the master. I tend to go for colorful, eclectic vibes, though I would prefer that these were neutral enough pieces. I just can't figure out how to work with the iron. Other than the finial topper, I'm pretty in love with this bed as it makes me think of a safe, romantic floating island. I'll probably keep all white bedding to act as backdrop for colorful Mexican/Peruvian/Indian throws and pillows. The walls are a soft gray (which my sister insists reads bluish and I guess it does at some time during the day). There's space across the bed/room for a sitting area where I have a writing desk, two chairs, and a chest, but again, I think I'll probably be relocating some of those pieces to make room for a small nursery. The master makes up an entire floor in our small 1600sq townhome. Thanks in advance for your notes.

It depends on your design style, this bed has simple lines. Almost a neutral style. You can chose a style you enjoy to blend with it.

@Sativa: I do like the look of the reclaimed wood against the iron and the white keeps it tidy. $1000 for both dressers/tables would be the absolute highest end of my budget and that's inclusive of those annoying delivery fees. Do you have any suggestions for less expensive but comparable choices? Thanks so much. I had thought that wood would warm up the iron but kept finding nothing but traditional pieces that remind me of my parents' home.

Honestly West Elm is a rip off a lot of the time: try finding a local contractor/furniture builder. These are very simple styles and can be built for a lot less than what west elm is asking.

You could find a welder and have him make the base/feet for all three for around $400. And than a Carpenter can make the reclaimed cabinet boxes for $300 a piece, maybe $500 for dresser as its larger. And the white laminate top is maybe $200-300 for all of them.

Because the bed has simple lines, you can go glam with the nightstands.

I would go this route with your look. Love the bone inlay but can also keep it basic or some wood element that would go well with your indian/mexican vibe.
