Hmm, I'll have to try it in the shower! :)

    Haha@tmnca

No Sparky I haven't seen it, but let me guess its a LIQUID? ? LOL.

I will have to look it up, Thanks Sparky for letting us weirdos know...

Yeah I said in my post that it was liquid.

Yes Sparky you did so eitherI was being sarcastic or it went over my head...which one do you think it was.......yep it went over my head.

Anyway I haven't searched it yet, but if its supposed to prevent pills I'd say it has Cellulase in it.

I didnt think you were being sarcastic. That didnt enter my mind--seriously. I just figured you read it fast and missed it BUT I didnt want you to think I was posting without all info that I had which wasn't much I will say.

I know Sparky..just my way of saying I should pay more attention sometimes to what I'm reading.

OMG! What a wonderful, beautiful thing to do for someone Cheryl!

Yes Jean, she couldn't have given me a better parting gift, cherry trees and a stained blouse...I loved it. I came to know this woman thru the past months and I was not too pleased with myself as to how I judged her over her very poor house cleaning skills and laundry skills, oh I didn't really say anything very bad but I judged none the less. I found out not too long before she died that she had mild mental retardation, ADD and pragmatic disorder, she was beaten and raped as a child, and shuffled from one non working family member to another, she was never taught any skills, and with her disorders it would have required special schooling...I really would not have guessed her disorders were this complicated, however I knew something....of course I didn't spend a lot of time with her 20 minutes or so a day out under the tree, which of course gave me a glimps of something ....anyway her sister shared this with me. I actually will miss her expecially this summer when the pear trees bud...I plan to plant the cherry trees in my lower field.

Sparky, I'm sorry for hijacking your post.

You didn't hijack anything. Even without having all her problems, I would think cancer would/could slow you down to where you couldn't bathe yourself, much less worry about a spotless house or a non-molded or molded washer and for sure what anyone else thought. I am not meaning that toward anyone, just a generalization. You meant more to her than you knew, whether for your talks under the shade or meals you carried or spaghetti dinner you helped orchestrate. I believe that the Lord brings us into situations just to see how we handle them, because one day we may be staring the same thing in the face. Everytime you look out and see your cherry trees you will think of her. That was a fitting end.

Oh, Mama sorry to hear about your neighbor. She is at peace now.

    Hug for (((Mama))).

On the new detergent, here's the bottle. Looks like I have to try this one on my colors/darks.

Thank You Jean, Sparky and George.

George, sometimes I think, George isn't as bad as some of the rest of us, but I take that back, your as big a detergent whore as the rest of us...LOL

Does this new stuff have a formula for whites and another for colors/darks? Wonder how its preserving colors, unless its removed the OB's and/or added a small amount of Sodium percarbonate to neutralize the chlorine in tap water. I haven't found an ingredient list yet.

Yes Mama, I can be a "detergent whore", I try to be good because I still have a stash I must get through. There aren't many color care detergents so I have to try this one.

I think the latest "white" formula is the new OxiClean HD.

I don't know where they are selling the Preserve yet.

George, I will never use all my detergent in my lifetime. I often tell Amiee when I'm gone that laundry detergent is one expense she won't have for a very long time LOL. Of course she will be on here asking what in the world each one is used for Whites, Darks and anything in between, I've told her you will all guide her. Haha..

Still I continue to buy more and it doesn't take any coaxing, lol

Oh mama, so sorry to hear about your neighbor. You were a good neighbor to her, probably more so than you think. Thank you for your kindness.

So does this new detergent have any OBs? It says "locks in color" so I assume it doesn't? I really like the Clorox Green Works that Larsi recommended but am open to try this on my darks if it doesn't have OBs.

Been missing for a few days. It's Tax season and my line of work keeps me busy. Also was just told to fly to Riverwoods (Chicago) for training in June so I'll be busy for a while. But laundry and you guys are always on my thoughts. :)

    Thank You Baby.

I don't know if it has OB's, yet.

Oh Chicago would be such a fun city to go to. How long will you be there?

Mama, I'll be in Riverwoods for 4 days for actual training. I'll need to see if I can extend my stay for a few days for sightseeing.

Is this Detergent even out yet? It is not on the Oxi Clean website. It is not on Amazon . com and it is not at 3 different Target stores and 2 grocery stores!!

Not that I've tried to find it today!! LOL :-O

I saw it on the Sears website. They had their detergent on sale and while looking I saw this oxi-clean. Look there.

I went to Sears site and didnt see it but didnt go through all those. Made me think I had imagined it--but then I googled it and found it.

Check K-Mart site I went there (it's listed on google) and they have it. $7.49. Added Feb 5th it said. Hope this helps...

@sparky...I called K-Mart/Sears. This detergent is on the website, but you cannot order it. They informed me it has not been in Stock, and is still out of Stock...LOL The logic! Ha ha ha.

They could not tell me why it is on the K-Mart website, but cannot be ordered. So strange!!

I am glad you saw or asked about it being on the site(s). That makes no sense, but I guess that is why Sears is going under??!! Why advertise something you don't even have!!

    Thanks

mama, you say that cellulase is supposed to prevent pills. Hubs has 3 polartec-like pullovers that I cannot wash the pills out of. Can you think of a laundry detergent that has cellulase, please?

Hi Pat, I know Tide HE original scent liquid does, as do some of the liquid Ecovers.. other than that off the top of my head I don't know, I'll try to do a search tomorrow though. Its a commonly used enzyme so probably in a lot, but I'll take a look.

Mama, I've been doing a search, so please don't spend any time on this. So, far Tide Free POWDER has cellulase as the 15th ingredient, which so far is the highest. I'll keep looking and let you know just for the Halibut.
