We have no idea what to do with this wasted space. Thinking about pouring DG everywhere just to have something other than dirt to walk on. Also, weeds have grown in at this point so it's a pretty lush ugly weed garden now. We need to do something. We love modern designs, but not looking to pour concrete or anything major like that. Hoping for not-too-complicated DIY jobs that can be done over time. Thinking about building a deck around the tree, for example. Please help.
