Hi Udkimc - Please accept my apologies for answering this question so late. I just received a notice from Houzz that I had pending questions! This is a random lay flagstone that we purchased from Caveman Stone here in Steamboat Springs, CO. It is thinner than standard flagstone which worked well for us because we didn't have the space for a thick flagstone. It is similar to a farmer's brown but I am not sure what the name of it is.

What type of wood are the stairs, and who makes them? Thanks

Hi Stephanie and Brian, The wood on the stairs is hand scraped hickory with a stain and glaze. We have a person here in Steamboat who installs and finishes our floors, but there are companies that supply floors like that and I am sure you have some good local installers.
