My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Tiny laundry room makeover

We used crazy tiles laminate that's really supposed to go on the floor, on the walls of our tiny laundry room. The room, it's a big word for a small space, didn't even have a ceiling before. Now it has downlights. Oh so fancy. We added an IKEA system of wall uprights with baskets for the various types of laundry, and drying racks. The washing machine and dryer are on pedestals; much more convenient for the old back. We could just fit in two kitchen cabinets (also IKEA) above each other and underneath those the cats have their 'private space'. These are the before & after shots. Taken with my phone camera that has a very dirty lens, hence some dark spots.

      Well done so much brighter. Is the hanging racks above easy to reach?

      I am about to redo my laundry area and I like that idea for hanging space.

      Probably one of the best before and afters I've seen here. It's a great use of the odd spaces, light in room is now fantastic, well done, carolins :))

      You did a great job, love what you did with the tiles. Where did you get the hanging racks? That is such a nice space now.

      @ jhcdn, yes, they are easy to reach for me, but I'm quite tall (5' 11"). It's ideal though.
