Hello,

My wife and I are buying a new home that will be built to our specs. We cannot find an example of what we are envisioning for the kitchen.

We like the dark coffee bean wood floors and off-white cabinets. We would like the island cabinets to have a lighter wood finish than the floors. Just can't find an example. The only examples to be found on this site are the exact opposite: white cabinets and coffee bean islands with a lighter wood finish floor.

Maybe the reason why we can't find what we are envisioning is because it just doesn't work. Any ideas? Any examples?
