Treating Serviceberry rust

I posted this question previously and can't find the thread. Sorry for the duplicate. Last year and the year before, my serviceberry tree had a bad case of rust. I have copper fungicide and I am wondering when to start spraying and how often to spray. Also, should I alternate with Daconil? Thanks.

How did your treatment with copper fungicide and/or Daconil work? I have the same issue on my serviceberry.

It did work -- no rust this year! Don't make the mistake I did and chop the infected branches off. It's not necessary. Just spray according to directions, let the tree grow through summer and drop the leaves in the Fall; clean them up and start over in the Spring!
