I've had great results with dimension, but I'm in SE TX with Bermuda grass, so not exactly the same conditions as you up north.

Depending on where you are I believe your local Home Depot might carry a Lesco 0-0-7 that contains Dimension.

Also I've read somewhere that one of the Jonathan Green products has Dimension in it (or maybe it was Prodiamine... I don't exactly remember). But read the labels carefully because they also sell another pre-emergent product that has nitrogen in it and you want to avoid giving the lawn nitrogen at this time.

Not to hijack your thread, but I have similar questions, hope you don't mind if I add? Any reason you don't want to use HALTS?

I was thinking of HALTS (already dropped after a warm week and warm winter) , with Prodiamine 1-2 weeks later for 4 month protection rate, and another round of HALTS 2 months after the first. From what I read this March Halts /March Prodiamine /early May Halts approach should wear off by end of August/early September. Long term plan going forward I would ween off to Prodiamine once each Spring for a ~5 month rate application.

Might seem like overkill, but this would be on a Fall 2015 TTTF reno, in which the pre-reno "lawn" was 90% weeds,broad leaf, crab grass, all sorts of "stuff". They started to return before winter set in...so I am keen to stop them before I reseed in the Fall (will use Tenacity in Sept when the reseed goes down).

On the Lesco 0-0-7 Dimension, in my area the local Home Depot didn't carry any last year, the HD 35 minutes away did. This year the local HD only has the 19-0-7 Lesco Dimension which I don't want to apply in early Spring. Otherwise I probably would have went with the 0-0-7 + HALTS.

I have only found Halts in a Scotts 30-0-4 blend and that is way too much Nitrogen this early in the year unless you want to put some more Scotts product down in 6-8 weeks as they would like you to. The last two years i've put it down and by memorial day my lawn is nearly dead because I didn't follow their "program" which pushes top growth at the expense of the roots.

Aha, agreed. I'm using straight Scott's HALTS no fertilizer mixed in, bought it from Amazon. I won't put any fertilizer down until Memorial day. This stuff is what I am using:

As soon as I posted that I went on Amazon, found it and bought it.

Local Lesco/John Deere Landscapes/Site One store no longer carries 0-0-7 Dimension.

Farm Supply CoOp only carries a 17-0-4 with Dimension

Anderson AG store only carries a 18-0-3 with Dimension

Home Depot only carries the 19-0-7 and not locally.

It appears 0-0-7 has disappeared.

I had great results with this pre-em product last year and have already received my bags for this season. It does not contain any fertilizer, only the Dimension like Lesco 0-0-7.

I get dimension in a few forms & places. Sta-green brand from Lowe's shows up now again, but Ace hardware usually has it as a small bag labeled "amaze". The most reliable has been Houston garden center where I get it as "hi yield" brand turf & ornamental grass stopper. Looks like its made by fertilome though... Hope this helps!
