Small kitchen, low budget, big ideas

Kitchen is 11 1/2 x 10 1/2. Ceiling 8 8".
Would love a lazy Nashville funky kinda feel. This poor kitchen has suffered through a DIY 6 years ago and is starting to crumble. I LOVE to cook but this kitchen just makes me sad. My best friends a plumber and I have bought black milk glass knobs. Other than that I don't know where to begin. If I set it on fire ill lose the rest of my house :)

Hate to see you put any money into sprucing up an obviously non-functional layout, but I'm assuming the "low budget" means no remodel. If this is a home you wish to stay in I would save up for a proper functional layout design from a good space planner and purchase a project that will accommodate your love of cooking. Trust me, there are wonderful things that can happen in ANY space! Best of luck.
