How do you stop someone from falling off the porch?

When the glass panels are open, how do you stop someone from falling off of the porch? We have the same thing and looked at Lumon's screens but did not like them. Also looked at a screen system that cannot be pushed through up to a certain number of pounds. It is strong but it is also thick and does not look good for viewing through.

Hello bluemyrtle45! We have a half-height glass option that mounts on top of a railing, for any decks or patios that are higher off the ground and require that added safety feature.

Hi and thanks. Not sure that I made myself clear. We have the same system as shown in your photo. When you open the glass panels there is nothing to stop anyone from accidentally falling off of the porch. That is my question. I know that you can put furniture in front of it to dissuade people from going close to the edge. Any other ideas?

We have done projects that include full-height glass walls on decks or patios that are higher up, and those projects always have an additional railing along the outside behind the glass wall. This allows you to continue sliding and opening your glass as usual but provides added safety.
