what is the minimum size cabinet to install Thermador 30 inch gas cooktop and Thermador downdraft vent?

The cut out width for the downdraft portion is 28 3/8". Depending on the size of the cooktop you MIGHT be able to use a 30" cabinet, but for clearance purposes and to avoid having to modify the walls of the cabinet box you should use a minimum 33" wide cabinet with a standard 24" depth.
